I’m always searching for new places to find beauty.
Which has left me to forget about what has continually resided in front of me.
These photos Were captured in my hometown on a road that I have traveled up and down my whole life,
yet I never thoughtfully admired it.
It’s as if it was hiding in suspense,
And then all of a sudden, jumped out at me.
It’s abundant green space is full of blooming flowers and country land.
Local tradition still holds at the root.
the land is beautiful.
“There are painters who transform the sun to a
yellow spot, but there are others who with the help of their art and their intelligence, transfer a yellow spot into the sun.” -P. Picasso
-R. W. Emerson.
Yet we will not notice it.
Because We are too confined with our own conformities.
So I’m going to remind myself everyday
to step away from what really is not of importance.
I need to “rush” less. I need to breathe deeper breaths.
I need to sit under the shaded canopy and thoughtfully listen.
Now is the time to focus on serenity.
“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” -L. Tzu.
Im currently at Cafe Descartes in Chicago.. Enjoying a Red Eye (-espresso combined with normal drip brew coffee) as I try to observe everything in front of me. The beautiful weather appears to have encouraged everyone to wear bold patterns. Everyone has their RayBans on and most have a Nikon around their neck. Its quite interesting how we all appear similar yet we are all very different.. I wonder what Descartes observed and pondered when he had his morning coffee.
Good Morning! Today is beautiful outside. All is wonderful. (-I’m not sure if my perspective is due to sunshine or coffee.. possibly a bit of both). I would much rather be out and about exploring and looking under rocks instead of working all day on a Saturday. I just finished finals this week and I have yet to sit back and explore.
And if the sunshine shines to bright on your eyes today, stop by Lenscrafters and let me help shade your life in bold sunglasses B)
